Toasts

Bread is such a dangerous thing isn't it?

Put on some hummus, guacamole or cheese and I'll eat the whole thing by myself!

Which is why I got you some of my best toasts recipes to share with your friends / family or to eat by yourself ( here again I won't blame you) and these recipes can be enjoyed all year long depending on the season!

Hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do!

Sweet potato / Figs and balsamic cream autumn toasts:

To make these gorgeous, autumn toasts you need to peel, cut and steam 1 sweet potato, mash it with a fork and add 2 to 3 tblsp of  unsweetened Greek yogurt, a pinch of salt, a drizzle of maple syrup and olive oil, spread it on top of your toasted bread, top it with some sliced figs, walnuts, arugula, (it’s optional but I also had a few berries left so I put them on top too)  and finally a drizzle of balsamic cream!

Even my mum who was not really excited about this mix at first fell in love with it so now it’s your turn!

Avocado toast with summer berries, goat cheese, crunchy walnuts and balsamic cream

To make these,  simply toast some black bread slices, mash 1 avocado with a bit of lemon juice, add a pinch of salt and pepper and spread it on top, then  add the berries found in the garden, sprinkle a bit of goat cheese and crunchy walnuts on top, and for those of you who like it, I highly recommend you to drizzle a bit of balsamic cream on top! I know it sounds like a lot of ingredients but the combo was to die for!

Make sure to let me know if you give those a try!
