How it all started:
The 6th April 2001, in the wonderful city of Saint-Petersburg, Anastasia Zashcherinskaya took her first breath...
At that precise moment she did not know what a rocky journey was about to begin….

[19 years and 2 272 km later…]

Anastasia is now fully immerged into her prep year in a Hospitality, catering and management school
where she works with new amazing ingredients and discovers the joys of being a cook; She knows that she is exactly where she is supposed to be, and even when she's not cooking at school, she's cooking at home while still focusing towards other fascinating subjects such as Nutrition, healthy food trends and self-confidence in general!

Looking back, it is crazy how food took such an important place in her life and she cannot wait to start working officially and do what she loves everyday. In fact, she believes that no matter what happens in life, everything happens for a reason and every mistake is a new lesson to learn!

Okay...Now you may probably wonder how did I develop this hobby for food and the culinary world itself right? Well… I guess it simply started out with those traditionnal Sunday bakings with my mother and evolved when I realized how bad I needed to use my hands and creativity to make food!

But don't get me wrong we all started with refined sugar cakes and nothing except beef and dairy in our diets (no offense for those who still eat that way) but my whole diet change after I learned more about nutrition in 2018...let's say I also had a rough time with my eating disorder but now I'm feeling so much better and I believe this experience made me stronger and more self-conscious. I also must admit that I am not a vegan, neither a vegetarian nor a flexitarian; I simply reduce my red meat intake, don't eat that much carbs, try not to eat refined sugar and don't drink dairy (except for kefir and tvorog but hey I'm russian I'm allowed)… So although my diet is not unlimited most of the food I eat is healthy if not organic, non-processed and of course it is always made with love.

(PS: Yes, I'm also this annoying friend who brings her own lunchbox to Macdonald's, brings a bunch of fruit and ginger-infused water at parties). Sorry not sorry (:
