Let's start with a few tips shall we?

1.

Always carry a Tot bag with you, or bring your own shopping bags to avoid buying more plastic.

2.

Make sure to use reusable items: reusable water bottles instead of plastic ones , glass jars,  candle pots, and you can also turn paper and magazines into creative collages

3.

If you don't use / wear something anymore sell it online: On Vinted, Amazon, via instagram etc..

4.

Be creative and re-use coconut shells into plant pots, an old tee-shirt into a sport-bra, wine bottles into flower vases etc..

There are a lot of DIYs on the tube!

5.

Don't waste your food, bake a banana bread with your ripe bananas, make apple sauce with your ripe apples, jams with your extra berries, use your ripe avocados in smoothies, carrot peels, shrimp shells into fish/ seafood or veggie stocks.

6.

Ban all the plastic straws, plastic bottles, plastic cutlery and make sure to always buy seasonal products (if not organic)

7.

Reduce or cut down your red meat intake and try new plantbased options (tofu, tempeh...), invest in an apartment-friendly or traditionnal compost, grow your plants and herbs at home and why not get a few chickens in your backyard for safer eggs and delicious omlets?

Homemade Peanut butter:

An exclusive recipe just for you my friends:

It only takes 1 ingredient and 1 good food-processor to make homemade PB, so save some money and start making your own, you will not regret it!

To make this unbelievable treat, full of healthy fats (nothing but healthy fats tbh) simply take about 400g of unsalted peanuts, grill them in the oven at 180°C for 10min and mix them in your food processor until you get a nice dough/ butter; if you have an old mixer, simply crush your peanuts before mixing them and then, use the same process by making 30 secs intervalls every time: 30sec mix, 30sec pause, 30mix etc...

Now that you have the basic recipe get creative and make it a little more extra:

  • You can add some melted dark chocolate or chocolate powder

  • Cinnamon / raisins

  • Honey / cloves

  • Shredded coconut

  • Himalayan salt
